The abundance of mature trees and water are home to much wildlife. Kites, Buzzards, Herons and Cormorants dominate the sky; swallows and Martins the buildings, while spotted flycatchers dart amongst the trees. In the moat and ponds, carp, tench, and eels swim lazily beneath the dragonflies.
